Tutoring for NSW are teachers who have 16 years experience and are HSC markers, making us experts in our field. We teach across the HSIE and English curriculum. We offer online tutoring anywhere in NSW and in person tutoring in the Sydney area.
HSIE - Preliminary and HSC
Society and Culture
Focusing on the core and depth studies, students will improve their confidence in content knowledge, develop a deep understanding of their case studies, and master writing skills. This will improve performance in assessment tasks and exams. Students can also choose to focus on developing research methods to develop a high quality PIP.
Legal Studies
Tutoring in legal studies will enable students to unlock the skills to apply case studies and legislation, and develop analytical skills. Core components of this course are extended responses, short answer, and contextual knowledge for multiple choice questions. Legal Studies has a lot of content and the key to success is being able to fully understand the question and demonstrate skillful evaluation.
English - Preliminary and HSC
Advanced English
Advanced English requires students to critically examine a range of texts which include prose fiction, drama, poetry, non fiction, and film. Tutoring can strengthen student knowledge and understanding of language and literature by learning how analyse and evaluate texts. Further developing writing skills will improve student confidence and the quality of their work.
Standard English
Tutoring in Standard English provides students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the range of texts they are studying. Students will strengthen their knowledge and application of language by developing their critical thinking and writing skills.
English Extension
1 and 2
The English Extension course requires students to be highly accomplished in their use of English and to be able to extend their application of language and self-expression in creative and critical ways.Tutoring Extension 1 English will provided specialist supporting in analysing prescribed and related texts.

Tutoring in Extension English 2 will support students to develop their Major Work by developing their research skills and navigating complex texts. Students will also receive guidance in the composition and process of their Major work, and in writing their Reflection Statement​.
